CompareFlights has been helping people find honest fare comparisons and airport information since 2009. This is our India edition, with prices in rupees and guidance written for journeys flown from Indian airports.
CompareFlights (compareflights.co.in) is owned and operated by The Media Flow Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 06769171, with a registered office in Leicester — you can verify this on Companies House). The CompareFlights network has been online since 2009, and the India edition is part of it, sitting alongside our UK, US and European sites.
We are an independent publisher. We are not owned by an airline, an airport, a hotel group or a travel agency, and we have no shareholders pushing us to recommend any particular brand. The fare data, the partnerships and the editorial standard the site is held to are managed in-house. The only people we answer to are the readers who use the site.
We built this India edition because comparing flights from Indian cities deserves content written for Indian travellers — rupee pricing, the airports people actually fly from, and passenger-rights guidance based on India's own rules rather than rules borrowed from another market.
We do two things. We surface live fares from a wide pool of airlines and booking sites so you can see who is cheapest for the route and dates you have in mind, and we publish guides — for India's major airports, the main carriers, and the popular routes flown across the country and abroad — covering the things worth knowing before you book.
The fare data shown across the site comes from Travelpayouts, our primary travel affiliate partner, which aggregates inventory from more than 500 airlines and online travel agents. Tour and experience listings are powered by Viator and G Adventures (the latter tracked via Impact.com). None of those partners influences what we write or which airline we suggest.
This site is free to use. We do not charge you to search, read or compare. To pay for hosting, development and the time it takes to keep guides up to date, we earn an affiliate commission when a reader clicks through and books with one of our partners. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you book through us or go direct.
The India edition does not currently run display advertising. If that changes, we will update this page and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy before any advertising goes live, and we will block intrusive formats — no pop-ups, no autoplay video, no interstitials.
Every guide on the site is written by a human, in natural Indian English, for this edition. We use fare history, route schedules and our own research to put guides together. We do not republish text scraped from other travel sites or open encyclopaedias — if you read it here, it was written here.
When we quote a typical fare for, say, Delhi to Mumbai or Bengaluru to Goa, that figure comes from real fare data rather than guesswork. Prices change, schedules shift and airports get rebuilt, so we re-check the popular guides regularly. Each page shows when it was last updated.
If you spot something out of date or simply wrong, please tell us — we would much rather hear about it than leave a reader with stale advice.
We are building out the India edition through 2026. The roadmap adds a smarter cheapest-month calendar that uses real booking data rather than guesswork, and a much deeper set of airport landing pages — proper editorial guides covering routes, carriers, terminal layouts and the local quirks every airport has.
